New product development is the strategy of emterprise and is also the most important aspects of enterprise development. Good information retrieval tools and professional staff should be needed when the pharmaceutical companies choose the right drugs to develope, and then based on the government policy to deal with the problem of intellectual property, clinical evaluation, technology, market structure and related competitive strategy, sales forecasting and competitive analysis, and other aspects as well. By this way the proper drugs could be potimized with its own unique product development chain.
