兩頭毛Incarvillea arguta (Royle) Rovle為紫威科角蒿屬植物，主產(chǎn)于西南地區(qū)，為各民族常用中草藥。兩頭毛含有多種化學(xué)成分，目前從其根莖或者地上部分分離得到單萜、環(huán)烯醚萜、倍半萜、三萜、甾體、生物堿、黃酮、酰胺、苯丙素等。兩頭毛提取物或所含化學(xué)成分具有促細胞分化、抗炎、抗菌、抗氧化、防治膽石癥等作用，臨床用于治療肝炎、結(jié)石病等，療效顯著。綜述了2008—2013年兩頭毛的化學(xué)成分和藥理作用，為其開發(fā)利用提供參考。

Incarvillea arguta (Royle) Rovle, the plant of Bignoniaceae Incarvillea Juss., is distributed in southwest area in China as a folk medicine used by several nationalities. The main chemical constituents separated from I. arguta are monoterpenoids, iridoids, sesquiterpenoids, triterpennoids, sterides, alkaloids, flavonoids, amides and phenylpropanoids. Modern pharmacological studies have demonstrated that I. arguta performs promoting the activities of cell differentiation, anti-inflammation, antibacterial, anti-oxidation, and preventing gallstone and I. arguta is widely used in the treatment of hepatitis and lithiasis. The recent research progress from 2008 to 2013 on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of I. arguta are reviewed in this paper, which could provide references for the further utilization of the plant.
