Methods Patients (82 cases) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Anyang District Hospital from October 2016 to October 2017 were randomly divided into control (41 cases) and treatment (41 cases) groups. Patients in the control group were po administered with Acetylcysteine Effervescent Tablets dissolved in water, 0.6 mg/time, twice daily. Patients in the treatment group were po administered with Juhong Tanke Liquid on the basis of the control group, 20 mL/time, three times daily. Patients in two groups were treated for 12 weeks. After treatment, the clinical efficacy was evaluated, and the arterial blood gas indexes, the pulmonary function, the serum cytokine levels, the levels of oxidative stress in two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results After treatment, the clinical efficacy in the control group was 80.49%, which was significantly lower than 95.12% in the treatment group, and there were differences between two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the pO2, SaO2, FEV1, FVC, and PEF levels in two groups were significantly increased (P<0.05), but the pCO2 levels were significantly decreased (P<0.05), at the same time the arterial blood gas and pulmonary function indexes in the treatment group after treatment were significantly better than those in the control group, with significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the serum IL-6, sTREM-1, MCP-1 and MDA levels in two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05), but IFN-γ, SOD and GPX levels were significantly increased (P<0.05), at the same time, the serum cytokine levels and the levels of oxidative stress in the treatment group after treatment were significantly better than those in the control group, with significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).
