HOX轉錄反義RNA(HOTAIR)是首個被發(fā)現的參與癌癥進程的長鏈非編碼RNA,并具有反式調控作用。HOTAIR在多種腫瘤中表達上調,不僅參與腫瘤細胞多藥耐藥(MDR)的形成,且與腫瘤的惡性程度和不良預后密切相關,因此HOTAIR有望成為逆轉腫瘤耐藥新靶點。對HOTAIR及其在腫瘤MDR方面的研究進展做一綜述,以期為逆轉腫瘤MDR的新藥設計與研發(fā)提供思路。

Hox transcript antisense RNA (HOTAIR) is the first lncRNA to be found involved in the process of cancer with the effect of trans-acting. HOTAIR is overexpressed in a variety of tumors. It participates in the formation of multidrug resistance (MDR) and is related to severity and poor prognosis of tumors. Therefore, HOTAIR is expected to become a new target for treatment of MDR. The present review summarizes recent progress in HOTAIR study in order to provide ideas for new drug design and research and development of reversal of MDR.
